Cancellations can be made by contacting Beyond the Glass Adventure Tours via email, phone, or in person.

A non-refundable 5% booking fee is included in the tour price.

For tours cancelled between 48 hours and 24 hours before the scheduled start time, a charge of 25% of the tour price will apply.

For tours cancelled between 24 hours and 12 hours before the scheduled start time, a charge of 50% of the tour price will apply.

Tours cancelled within 12 hours of the scheduled start time will be charged at 100% of the tour price.

Tours will proceed in light rain or passing showers, but will be cancelled if weather conditions pose a safety risk or would detract from the enjoyment of the tour. In such cases, customers have the option to reschedule their tour free of charge or receive a 95% refund.

The Cork City Cycle Tour and the Cork Harbour Greenway Cycle Tour both begin on Saint Patrick's Quay in Cork City Centre. Cork Airport offers flight connections to numerous European cities, including London, Amsterdam, Paris, and Rome.
There is a train service between Cork and Dublin.
Additionally, there are train services to Cork from Cobh, Middleton, and Mallow.
Bus services are available between Cork, Dublin, and Dublin Airport.
There are also bus services from Galway, Waterford, Limerick, and Kilkenny.
For travellers arriving from nearby towns, there are bus services from Kinsale, Cobh, and Middleton.

If your cruise ship docks in Cobh, located approximately 25 kilometres from Cork City, the most convenient way to reach the Cycle Tour start point is by train. The train station in Cobh is situated close to the cruise ship terminal, and the journey to Kent Station in Cork City takes about 35 minutes. From Kent Station, the cycle tour starting point is less than a 10-minute walk away.

Alternatively, there are taxi and bus services available from Cobh to Cork. A taxi journey typically costs around €50.

Yes, there are two public carparks located on St. Patricks Quay, offering parking on an hourly basis. Additionally, there is limited on-street parking near the tour start point, although it is paid parking. Please be aware that during busy periods, parking space in the carparks can fill up early in the day.

For the Cycle Tour, we provide you with your Bike, Helmet, and Hi-Visibility vest. You can cycle in your normal travel attire, but we recommend wearing a brighter outer layer for visibility. Additionally, please bring a light rain jacket as the tour will proceed in light rain or passing showers.

The Cycle tours typically last from 2 to 3 hours. We suggest bringing water and a light snack to enjoy during the tour.

When preparing for your hike, please consider the season, weather conditions, and the length of the hike. Here's a list of essential items to bring:

Comfortable outdoor clothing.
- Walking boots or walking shoes.
- Warm layers and fleece.
- Hat and gloves.
- Gaiters and walking poles (personal choice but recommended).
- Waterproof jacket and trousers (preferably breathable).
- Water, lunch, and snacks.
- Sunscreen and sunglasses.
- Medication – please inform your guide of any medical conditions that may affect your hike

As for fitness level, our activities vary to accommodate different abilities. For our Cycle Tours, participants must be comfortable cycling a standard hybrid bike at a gentle pace for 3 hours. Our hiking experiences range from 2-hour coastal hikes on relatively flat paths, suitable for those with a basic fitness level, to more challenging 8-hour hikes on Carrauntoohil, requiring hiking experience and a high fitness level. Our most popular hikes, in the Galtee Mountains, range from 4 to 6 hours and are suitable for those with a general fitness level and some hiking experience. Additionally, our scavenger hunts offer a leisurely experience, requiring participants to walk through Cork city.

Yes, there are age requirements for our tours to ensure safety and enjoyment. Participants must be at least 16 years old for our Cork City Cycle Tour, 12 years old for our Greenway Cycle Tour, and 16 years old for our Hiking tours. However, we understand that each situation is unique, and we're happy to discuss the possibility of accommodating younger participants. Please contact us for further assistance.
