Cancellation*:
If you give over 60 days’ notice of cancellation we refund 85% of the tour price, for 31 to 59 days we refund 60%, for under 30 Days we refund 0%.
We allow tours to be postponed for no charge with 30 days’ notice; this is dependent on availability, and for tours postponed between 30 and 7 days there is a €50 charge.
* If covid related travel restrictions prevents you from travelling to Ireland you can reschedule up to 30 days before your trip with no additional charges or request a refund. If covid related travel restrictions prevents us from running the tour, we will offer alternative travel arrangements or a full refund of the tour price. In these circumstances, no incidental or consequential expenses will be paid
Special consideration will be given to all cancellations due to Covid 19 and these will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
Beyond the Glass Adventure Tours primary focus is the health and well-being of our guests and guides. Our covid 19 policies and procedures are in line with the HSE and failte Ireland guidelines. All staff are trained on Ireland's Covid 19 Safety Charter. We have procedures in place to prevent the spread of Covid-19. All shared equipment, e.g., bikes and helmets, are sanitised and disinfected after each use. Tour groups will be kept to a maximum of 12 people. The tour vehicle is cleaned and sanitized daily. Regular hand sanitising for all guests is encouraged. Wearing of masks in certain indoor settings is required.
92% of Irish Adults are vaccinated and the booster program is currently being rolled out. Travel restrictions in Ireland are lifted and daily life has returned to normal. Certain restrictions apply to some indoor setting. These include the requirement to wear face masks for some indoor entertainment and the requirement to show proof of vaccination to gain entry to restaurants and bars.
For adults arriving in Ireland, who have a proof of vaccination or proof of recovery or the EU Digital Covid Certificate no testing or quarantine is required. For travellers aged 12-17, who do not have accepted proof of vaccination or recovery, require a negative RT-PCR test taken within the 72 hours prior to arrival.

Before boarding a flight to the United States, all air passengers, are required to have either a negative Covid-19 test result or documentation of recovery from Covid-19 in the past 3 months. If you're flying to Canada, you must provide proof of a negative Covid-19 test result taken within 72 hours of the scheduled departure time of your flight to Canada.
If you enjoy spending time in the outdoors and you maintain a reasonable level of fitness, then a BEYOND THE GLASS Tour is for you. The daily activities on each of our tours require a reasonable level of fitness. The typical activity is a three hours hike on uneven ground or three hours cycle on country roads.
Yes, BEYOND THE GLASS tours are suitable for the single traveller. In fact, whether you are a single traveller, part of a couple or a group/travelling party, BEYOND THE GLASS tours are for you. Our ambition is to show you the best of what Ireland has to offer while being immersed in the outdoors. On each day of the tour there is an outdoor group activity in stunning landscapes.
Our pricing is based on per person sharing and there is a single person supplement. While we do try and keep this cost to a minimum we do have to charge a €350 single person supplement on our 8 day tours, a €290 single person supplement on our 6 day tour and a a €220 single person supplement on our 5 day tour.
We have selected some really beautiful 3* & 4* accommodation for each of our tours. The accommodation is a mixture of hotels and Bed and Breakfasts which boast authentic Irish hospitality and encourages you to enjoy the Irish spirit of fun. The cost of the accommodation is included in the full tour price and this is on a Bed and Breakfast basis only. The standard for all accommodation includes private en suite bedrooms, TV and WiFi.
All BEYOND THE GLASS adventure tours are fully escorted and include all transportation needs for the duration of the tour.

As well as your normal travelling attire the following essential gear will be required:
• Walking boots.
• Comfortable trainers/runners.
• Comfortable and breathable outdoor clothing, including shorts, swimwear, trekking trousers, fleece and hat.
• Gaiters & walking poles (personal choice but recommended).
• Cycling shorts.
• Good quality waterproof jacket and trousers (preferably breathable).
• Day-pack/rucksack, water bottle.
• Sunscreen and insect repellent.
• Medication – ensure that you inform your guide of any medical conditions or special dietary requirements. If you have any special dietary requirements, please let us know so we can make every effort to accommodate you.
While there are no restrictions on size of bag or number of bags, we ask you please consider what you pack. Bring the essentials and enough for you to enjoy the trip but do not over pack. As a guide we recommend you keep your baggage to one standard size suitcase and one carry on suitcase.

Beyond the Glass strongly recommends that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance cover for cancellation, medical expenses, personal accident, personal luggage, money and public liability before you travel. We reserve the right to refuse admission to a passenger unless the client has arranged appropriate insurance. Beyond the Glass accepts no responsibility for loss or personal damage to personal belongings or liability for personal injury/death.
